The NMA/COSCOL team is the worldwide leader in offshore floatover installations. We have successfully completed many floatover operations using the m/v Tai An Kou and the m/v Kang Sheng Kou. We have designed the 50,000t DWT Newbuilding Ship for even larger topsides.
Benefits of COSCOL's Vessels include:
- Fast ballasting system
- Full Redundant Class 2 Dynamic Positioning System
- Removable aft bouyancy casings

After the Topside is released from the seafastening, the Vessel is de-ballasted and maneuvered into the Jacket using the fully redundant Class 2 Dynamic Positioning System. |

| Installation | ||
As soon as the Vessel is exactly in the correct horizontal position for the Topside to land on the Jacket, the Vessel ballasts as quickly as possible, bringing the Topside in contact with the Jacket. When there is a sufficiently large gap between the Vessel and the Topside, the Vessel maneuvers out of the Jacket. |
